Throwback is Thursday

Times of Throwback is here now that prices and inflation is on an all time rise. Maybe now is the time to consider the concept of thrifting for saving money and moving forward.

Thrifting is not something new it’s been going on a very long time and has come full circle. If you think about it it is recycling and saving our earth. I would love to help if you have any questions. This maybe a different style of living but very easy to adapt to. Where do you start go to any Salvation Army Good Will any business that recycles private or public. We also have Second Hand Rose which helps batter women and families. Try any of these and see what you think. If you go let me know. I would love to hear how it went. I have been doing this for a long time. The more you do it the easier it gets. Actually it is fun because you find so many interesting things. A tip that has helped me tremendously have a mental list of what you are looking for like shoes or a winter coat a new washer anything and everything you will be surprised at what you can find.

I wasn’t looking for this but brought it anyways a clock from Pottery Barn a picture from Home Goods from Salvation Army.
A monogrammed chair for our bedroom found two in perfect condition at Community which helps veterans such a good cause.
The buffet and dinner room table brought from a private owner the mirror at an estate sale
The chandler at an auction in
Royal Oak Michigan

The list goes on and on. That is the fun of thrifting always looking and be pleasantly surprised. Homegoods has a saying Go Finding. Go Finding and see what you may discover.

Good Luck my friends I wish you many good fortunes in your shopping adventures. Best Regards Dana
